UAE E-Invoicing Built on the 5-Corner Model
The e-invoicing framework employed by the UAE utilizes the 5 corner framework for enabling the safe and standardized exchange of e-invoices between various business organizations and service providers and their tax authorities' systems.
How the UAE 5-Corner E-Invoicing Works
The UAE 5-Corner E-invoicing framework helps to facilitate safe and standardized exchange of e-invoices between suppliers, service providers, buyers, and UAE tax authorities' network.
Supplier/ERP
The supplier generates and electronically signs the structured UBL 2.1 e-invoice using the ERP or accounting system.
Supplier ASP
The Accredited Service Provider (ASP) verifies the e-invoice against the necessary UAE E-Invoicing rules and securely sends it through the e-invoice network.
UAE FTA/E-Invoice Network
Central tax authority system receives and processes the necessary information from the e-invoice as per the UAE E-Invoicing system.
Buyer/ERP
The buyer accepts the validated e-invoice via its connected service provider and accounting system.
Buyer's ASP
Buyer's accredited service provider receives, validates, delivers and maintains the e-invoice for the recipient business.
